Recently, Hampton Mental Health Associates inc, has expanded its branch of "Tidewater In-Home Services" to the areas of Williamsburg. Gloucester, Poquoson, Norfolk, Chesapeake and Porsmouth to serve better the children and families by providing services "on site.

These services are provided under The Virginia Mental Health and Substance Abuse Licensing Department and according to the guidance of Virginia Medicaid Programs.

Private medical practices, institutions , agencies, shools or parents, can request a free assessment by one of the qualified Mental Health Professionals to determine the needs and establish individualized programs taylored to the situations.

As part of our regular operations, our staff provide individual, marital, family and group therapies specifically designed to treat the emotional and behavioral problems one may experience any time in life.

HMHA provides a continuum of services ranging from inpatient and outpatient care, with emergency (48 hrs) appointments; and "walk-in clinic" hours during which active patients can be seen without appointments.

HMHA works in close association with "Advanced Therapeutics", a program specialized in spouse abuse and sex offenders.

HMHA offers in-home services for children and families that require assistance on-site.

HMHA works closely with various HomeHealth Care Agencies for the need of the Medicare patient.
